Cybersecurity Policy SME

Department: Government Customer- Chantilly
Location: Springfield, VA


The NGA Corporate Policy Office promotes corporate policy development in alignment with the NGA Strategy. Cybersecurity policy subject matter experts will develop, review, and coordinate cybersecurity policies and formal NGA policy taskers. Develops or revises policies. Develops cybersecurity responses to policy related tasks.  

Develops and maintains the NGA Information Assurance Requirements Catalog (IARC).

The Contractor shall:

  • Develop, coordinate, update, and maintain NGA Cybersecurity Directives, Instructions, and Manuals and ensure consistency with applicable law, Federal regulations, and relevant IC and DoD policies.
  • Review, comment, and provide impact assessments of new or revised National, IC, and DoD policies, processes, directives, and guidance.
  • Update and maintain the IARC
  • Develop an approach that simplifies access and produces actionable information from the IARC without requiring a detailed knowledge of the underlying data and structure.


Education and/or Experience:

  • Junior to Senior level positions available, depending on experience
  • Bachelorís Degree
  • Active TS/SCI w/CI Poly


  • Strong background in IT  
  • Strong analytic skills 
  • Excellent customer-facing skills
